The National Psoriasis Foundation is pleased to announce the National Institutes of Health – National Psoriasis Foundation Robertson Fellowship in Translational Medicine Program for the academic years 2016-2018. The program provides support to train the next generation of clinical and translational scientists who will focus on research and/or patient care in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • The nominated fellow cannot be expected to be a faculty member during the effective dates of the fellowship.

  • The project to be completed must focus on psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis or related co- morbid diseases.

  • The nominated fellow must already hold an M.D., D.O. or PhD degree.

  • Foreign applicants must be legally certified to practice medicine or legally allowed to work (Permanent resident, J1 Visa etc) in the United States.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised of NPF and NIH members. The Robertson Translational Medicine Fellow will be selected primarily on the strength of the application personal statement and research aims proposal. Only one proposal may be submitted per applicant.

The awarded fellow will receive a total of $100,000 for support of salary and benefits, and up to $75,000 in research support from the NIH laboratory.
