FREIDA AMA's Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database - Search for residencies by specialty and/or location, and more. Provides contact info, program website, salary, benefits, faculty and training info for comparisons.
Scutwork Unofficial database of residency reviews. Searchable, but doesn't have reviews of every program. The info comes from current residents (or at least that's who they say they are). Must register to use.
ERAS Electronic Residency Application Service to apply to residency. Over 95% of the US residency programs in these specialties use ERAS to receive their residency applications.
NRMP "The Match" to land the job. The algorithm matches residency program ratings of applicants with applicant ratings of residency programs - the greatest good for the greatest number.

Charting Outcomes in the Match (2006). AAMC/NRMP study. Statistics specific to dermatology applicants in 2005 are found on pages 22-24. Provides information on Step1 scores, length of rank lists, AOA membership, number of publications, and number of research projects.
